Please be informed about the situation along the Cambodia-Thailand border regarding the Thai military forces’ attack on Cambodia in the 5th Military Region at the area of Chok Chey village, Banteay Meanchey province on December 19, 2025.
- At 08:48 am, the Thai military sprayed toxic gas into the area of Chok Chey village, Banteay Meanchey Province.
Cambodian forces will continue to monitor the situation closely, and stand strong, brave, and steadfast in their fight against the aggressors and remain vigilant in fulfilling their roles to protect the territorial integrity of Cambodia. We will protect our dignity with courage and unwavering resolve, at any cost, and without succumbing to coercion or intimidation in any form.
